Climate-   According to the official Alaska (Visitor information Website) the number 1& 2 and 3 misconception about Alaska is the weather and the road conditions and food prices, (reportedly better roads and lower food prices than expected).  They say that over 1/3 of the visitors found the weather better than expected.  This could lead to the question of whether 2/3 found it worse than they expected?  Facts are that temperatures around the ocean are more moderate than the higher elevation.  Summer average temperatures are from 60-90 degrees throughout the state.
